Interested in volunteering? Join the The Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair on 30 November 2024 in the Social Hub! Meet local non-profits and NGOs that are eager to work with volunteers, mingle with fellow internationals and attend interesting presentations. You will have the opportunity to meet a variety of organisations in different fields such as human rights, social justice, migrant and refugee assistance, homelessness, animal and environmental welfare, elderly care, child care and more!
We will host a workshop on how to integrate volunteering into your job-hunting strategy!
Are you new in The Hague region or looking for your next career step? The Hague International Centre will be present at the Fair to answer all your questions on living, working and studying in The Hague. Our account manager Sarah will host a workshop on Integrating Volunteering Into Your Job-Hunting Strategy. During the workshop, Sarah will share her own experience of going from an international student to working for a Dutch employer. You will learn more about the working culture in the Netherlands, as well as the key economic clusters of the region. Gain practical information on job hunting and career opportunities for internationals, and on how volunteering may be a career strategy to unlock new opportunities.
